Youth Group

Our Junior High ministry is for those students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  We meet at church on Sunday nights @5pm in the “Upper Room”.  Each week we have a short lesson on Bible topics, read scripture, and share with each other a bit about the good and bad things that are happening in our lives.  Plus….there are snacks!

We also love to play games, whether they’re classics like dodge-ball and kickball, newer games like NERF wars and Zombie Tag, or something a bit messier like Shaving Cream Battles.  We’d love to have you come hang out with us and enjoy some time growing closer to each other and to God.

Our Senior High youth group is for students in high school: 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.  We meet every Sunday night at 7pm for an hour of fun and fellowship.  Much like the Junior High ministry we share our joys and concerns with each other and dive into scripture and Bible stories focusing on those themes and concepts that affect teens the most.

We also love to have fun whether it’s an overnight lock-in, trips to amusement parks, or just playing some Capture The Flag in the church’s backyard.

While we enjoy all the fun, it’s also important to focus on others and we do this each month by having a service project in our local and surrounding communities.  Come join us some Sunday!

Our youth band meets at 6pm on Sunday nights so Jr. Highers that want to play in the band can hang out for an hour after their meeting or Sr. Highers can show up an hour before their group to work on praise songs.

We’re currently working on some great songs from Chris Rice, Rend Collective, and Skillet!  Come join us some Sunday evening.

Stay up to date on what’s happening in the youth group with the calendar below.  I don’t always do a great job of getting events into the bulletin on time (sorry Sara!), but I do update the calendar regularly so if you’re ever not sure about a time for an event, you can always check here or  see what events we have planned, when you visit our facebook group!
