Area 51 NERF War

Calling all 6th-12th grade students!  Come join us on Friday, September 20th, after the varsity football game from 9:30pm-11pm for an Area 51 NERF War.  Bring your NERF gear and be prepared for a night of games, food, prizes, and more.

If you don’t have any NERF gear, no problem.  We have some we’ll loan out and there are other ways to raid Area 51.  We need rock throwers (dodgeballs), Naruto runners, and most importantly, Kyles!

The event is free and open to all 6th-12th graders.   Let’s see them aliens!

Creation Station

Creation Station is a fun activity for youth from Kindergarten to 5th grade.  Each month, children will get a chance to get creative with our awesome Creation Station leader, Mindy Radcliff.  She organizes art activities, crafts, and more that allow youth to express themselves and learn more about Jesus.

Creation Station always meets on Tuesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Our current upcoming sessions are:

February 26th

March 26th

April 30th

If you would like to sign up for the event, please contact the church office or fill out the information below:

If you have more than one child to register, please enter additional names in the box above.

Warrior Dash (2018)

I had a blast with the Jr. and Sr. High youth over the summer at our first Warrior Dash event.  There was mud, music, and muscles that ached for days, but I can’t wait to do it again.  We have some great photos have our time on the course and off.  Check them out below:

Jr. High NOW Youth Retreat

Join us at Carlinville’s Lake Williamson Center for a fun Star Wars-Themed weekend for our Jr. High (6th-8th) students.  There will be tons of things to do like rock climbing, large group games, prayer services, tournaments, and more.

We’ll arrive at the center on Friday night around 5:30 (we’ll eat dinner on the road) have some fun with the other groups and then spend all next day having fun at the center, worshiping God, and growing deeper in our faith.  Meals will be provided Saturday as well as a breakfast on Sunday morning.  We’ll get back to church mid afternoon on Sunday.

Cost to attend is $70.  Financial help is available.  If you would like to go, don’t let money stand in your way.  We will get you there!

For more info, please see Louie or grab an information pack from the board in the atrium.  You can also visit the IGRC page.
