Your Journey Begins
We have lots of different ways to connect with youth in Jerseyville and the surrounding areas. Check out some of our current and past events below, then join us on social media to talk some more!
Sunday Night Youth Group
On Sunday nights we meet at church for games, food, and to build stronger relationships with Jesus and others.
Our Jr. High youth (6th-8th graders) meet from 6pm-7pm. The Sr. High youth (9th-12th graders) meet from 7pm-8pm.

Youth Mission Trips
We do several missions trips and service projects throughout the year. One of our favorite trips is through the Appalachian Service Project (pictured here) where we work side-by-side with families in the Appalachians upgrading, repairing, and restoring homes. This is a week long trip that provides youth with the opportunity to learn new skills and exposes them to different cultures and ways of living they may not otherwise learn about.
Past service projects include:
- Rake N Run
- Thanksgiving Meal for Home-bound
- Treehouse Wildlife Center
- Flood Bucket Preparation
- Riverbend Animal Shelter
- Salvation Army Bell-Ringing
Youth or Dare
On Sunday mornings from 10am-11am, our Sr. High youth run a podcast where we talk about everything from Angels to Zombies.
We have a wide range of interests among our youth and these topics always tend to come up when we get together. You never know what where a conversation will end up, but that’s part of the fun!
You can listen to our most recent episode here or check out previous episodes on Podbean.

Youth Trips
We go on several trips throughout the year or at least we used to (thanks covid). One of our favorite trips was to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN (shown here). We camped outdoors at Camp Rudolph then took the tram to the amusement park the next day. Here are a few of the other trips we’ve taken:
- Beast Escape Room
- Incredible Pizza Company
- Outdoor Laser Tag
- Paintball
- Huzzah Valley Float Trip
- WinterJam Concert Festival
- Altitude Trampoline park
- Bowling Alley
- Haunted Houses
- Monster Jam Truck Rally
Youth Events
We have multiple youth events throughout the year. Some of them are designed to deepen our faith, while others are designed to get together and have fun. But most often, both end up happening.
Here are a few pictures from previous youth retreats and community events that we have hosted.
