Calling all 6th-12th grade students! Come join us on Friday, September 20th, after the varsity football game from 9:30pm-11pm for an Area 51 NERF War. Bring your NERF gear and be prepared for a night of games, food, prizes, and more.
If you don’t have any NERF gear, no problem. We have some we’ll loan out and there are other ways to raid Area 51. We need rock throwers (dodgeballs), Naruto runners, and most importantly, Kyles!
The event is free and open to all 6th-12th graders. Let’s see them aliens!
2018 was our second year providing meals to the homebound members of our community. Our youth worked hard preparing meals of turkey, rolls, green beans, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie for our deliveries.
Much thanks to all of the adult workers that helped make this possible. Cathy Helfer for working hard in the kitchen and preparing desserts, Jon Hetzel for driving our youth to the deliveries, and all of those workers at Sinclair’s Bakery that cooked the turkey for us which saved us a lot of time!
This year we were able to have four different teams go out into the community and deliver meals as well as spend some time talking to the individuals we delivered to. I think the youth did a great job this year and I look forward to increasing those that we are able to bless next year!
If you would like to help support this mission, be sure to check out our Mission Of The Month list or our Noisy Offering list for how to support us financially or e-mail the church at email@example.com for ways to get involved delivering meals, preparing desserts, or adding a name to our list for receiving a meal. Thank you for your support!
Creation Station is a fun activity for youth from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Each month, children will get a chance to get creative with our awesome Creation Station leader, Mindy Radcliff. She organizes art activities, crafts, and more that allow youth to express themselves and learn more about Jesus.
Creation Station always meets on Tuesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

On Saturday Oct. 27th, we’ll have a weenie roast/haunted farm trip for both Jr. and Sr. High youth. Meet at the church at 5pm and then we’ll head out to Louie and Rachel’s house for a weenie roast. When it gets dark, we’ll head across the street to ‘R’ Acres Haunted Farm.
If you don’t like haunted houses/farms, no problem! You can stay at the weenie roast while the rest of us get scared. You may even hear our screams. Seriously, it’s loud out there.
We’ll have soda and hot dogs, plus things for S’mores, but I encourage you all to bring your favorite chips or cookies.
We’ll need plenty of chaperones for this trip–a few for the weenie roast and some for the haunted farm. If you’d like to volunteer for one or the other, please let me know. Thanks all! Sign up below or on our facebook page.
