Jersey County School Mom

The Jersey County School Mom program is one of our new Missions Of The Month. Over the past few months, we have been collecting and purchasing items to deliver to our local schools.  There is a need in our schools at all levels, from Preschool to High School and you have been a large part in helping us to meet that need.

Thanks to the generous donations from you, Pastor Bob and myself were able to present the schools with items that they needed.

West Elementary:

West Elementary received new underwear, sweatpants, and more for students that may have accidents during school hours.  It was a joy to be able to deliver these items to Nurse Hall!

East Elementary:

East received many similar clothing items like underwear and sweatpants as well as warm winter clothing like stocking caps and mittens for those students that may need them.  Great smiles Mrs. Miles and Mrs. Anderson!

Jerseyville Middle School:

You helped us deliver a lot of necessary items to Nurse Wittman at Jerseyville Middle School such as clothing and hygiene items that many students will benefit from.

Jerseyville High School:

Here, Pastor Bob delivers the last of our School Outflow donations to the high school nurse, Monica Bell.

Thank you so much to all of you that supported this wonderful outreach.  We hope to be able to provide more necessary items to the schools throughout the year such as replenishing classroom supplies like tissues/markers and restocking clothing/hygiene items as the year moves forward.

Items Needed:

  • Pullups
  • Sweatpants (Preschool-2nd Grade size)
  • Kleenex
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Warm Mittens/Gloves
  • Stocking Caps

If you’d like to contribute to this outreach, you can drop off items in the office or write a check with “School Outflow” in the memo.  Learn more about our Missions Of The Month.
